Women’s day special
Woman is a mother, a working professional, a homemaker, a decision maker, she is a ‘Woman’, juggling the roles with a proficient skill and making it seem as a very banal task. So on this International Women’s Day; let’s celebrate the spirit of womanhood and the responsibilities that come along with it. One such example is Mrs. Smita Bharsakle, The Versatile Personality.
After completion of her graduation from Ferguson College, Pune, she went on to work for Veritas [ Symantec ]. Since her grandfather was the Mayor of Pune, the values of giving back to the society, were deeply rooted in her genes. She had an inclination towards becoming an education entrepreneur, wherein she would provide quality education to her students and economic stability to her employees. Hence the pursuit to achieve this goal was set into motion. Finally in 2003 with the inception of Matrix Zero One Systems the dream became a reality.
MZOS is the brain child of Mr. Mangesh Bharsakle and Mrs. Smita Bharsakle. They have created and brought MZOS to the pinnacle through perseverance and sheer dedication. She holds the Lion’s Share in the success of MZOS.
She remains to be a good humored, enthusiastic under pressure & is a skilled organizer, problem solver with an ability to consider options with an open mind before making any decision.
But it was not easy! They started in a modest setting on Karve Road wherein they didn’t have even a telephone. They used to give the phone number of the neighbor and used to counsel the student. She used to go to colleges and provide them the information about the courses they offered. In one instance, she was traveling from one college to another and she got drenched in rain water. Instead of feeling sad about herself or canceling the next college appointment, she dried herself in the sun and went to the next college. She stood up what she believed in and she still does. She is very much proficient in counseling.
Her focus was to provide a conducive environment to her students especially girls. She is always encouraging the girl students to take up challenges and sharpen their skills and in turn their moral is boosted and ultimately they become more confident. Similarly the staff is motivated and inspired by her to achieve their goals and become more self reliant. Their overall personality is developed and become more sure about themselves.
MZOS has a bold vision, in which they want to train and place 1 lakh students by the year 2020. In their 10 year journey they have trained and placed more than 10,000 students.
Behind every successful man there is a woman. If there is mutual understanding and compatibility it shows in the outcome and in this case MZOS is one such example of the equal dedication from both the partners.
